Agro & livestock

Agtech and livestock platforms, built in weeks.

Cambalache is a product studio in Buenos Aires that designs and builds software for agriculture and livestock. We built Tropa Libre, a marketplace where Uruguayan producers sell cattle directly to each other from the phone, and CrediToro, a platform in Argentina to buy cattle on credit with the backing of the buyer’s bank.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Have you built agtech software before?

Yes. Tropa Libre is a livestock marketplace in Uruguay with web, iOS and Android apps, and CrediToro lets buyers in Argentina purchase cattle on credit guaranteed by their bank. We designed and built both.

How much does it cost to build an agtech platform?

It depends on the scope. An agtech or livestock platform usually starts from one of our fixed-price packages: Validate, $3,900 in 2 weeks for one core flow or one automated process; Launch, from $8,000 in 8 weeks; or Scale, from $15,000 in 10–14 weeks for marketplaces and heavy integrations. You get the exact price and launch date in writing before any code is written.

Can it work with official livestock records?

Yes. Tropa Libre requires DICOSE verification to publish and CrediToro attaches the SENASA DT-e to every deal. Other registries are scoped and priced up front.

How long does it take to launch?

A focused first version usually fits our Launch package: 8 weeks, fixed price. Platforms with several sides or heavy integrations take 10 to 14 weeks on Scale. The launch date is agreed in writing before we start, and it is guaranteed.
