Restaurants & food

Restaurant and kitchen software, built in weeks.

Cambalache is a product studio in Buenos Aires that designs and builds software for restaurants and professional kitchens. We built AstroCuisine for Tecnocuisine: a kitchen management platform with real-time inventory, automatic recipe costing, food cost and suppliers, on web, tablet and phone. And Menú365, an app that plans a family’s weekly menu, writes the shopping list and teaches every dish step by step, on iPhone and Android.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Have you built restaurant software before?

Yes. AstroCuisine, built for Tecnocuisine, gives professional kitchens real-time inventory, automatic recipe costing, food cost per dish and supplier management, on web, tablet and phone.

How much does it cost to build restaurant software?

It depends on the scope. Restaurant software usually starts from one of our fixed-price packages: Validate, $3,900 in 2 weeks for one core flow or one automated process; Launch, from $8,000 in 8 weeks; or Scale, from $15,000 in 10–14 weeks for marketplaces and heavy integrations. You get the exact price and launch date in writing before any code is written.

Can it connect to our point of sale?

Integrations with your POS, accounting or delivery apps are scoped and priced up front, through their APIs.

How long does it take to launch?

A focused first version usually fits our Launch package: 8 weeks, fixed price. Platforms with several sides or heavy integrations take 10 to 14 weeks on Scale. The launch date is agreed in writing before we start, and it is guaranteed.
